
Alexandra STOCKI has been practicing employment law for 25 years, in both advisory and litigation roles.
Her experience within French and international structures has enabled her to develop global and complementary approaches in a wide range of business sectors.
She has worked for the following firms:
- Flichy Grangé, a niche employment law firm, during 4 years, focusing on collective relations (information-consultation issues) and working hours,
- Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for 7 years, with a practice focused on organizational change projects, collective bargaining and high-stakes litigation concerning equal treatment, notably for players in the automotive, food processing, IT and tourism industries,
- Bredin Prat, renowned for corporate/M&A transactions, for over 2 years, as Counsel, on transactions such as the merger between Direct Energie and Poweo, Solvay’s takeover bid for Rhodia or the restructuring of the Dexia group,
- Bird&Bird, as a partner for 6 years, with a major part of her activity devoted to organizational change projects, with or without employment safeguarding plans, notably in the music, pharmaceutical and cement sectors. She also advised Deutsche Bank on the sale of Printemps to Qatar,
- Proskauer Rose, as a partner for 4 years, with experience in reorganizations and employment safeguarding plans on behalf of major industrial players, while assisting a clientele of small and medium-sized businesses with their day-to-day issues and litigation.
Alexandra has also been a teacher for the past ten years: she runs a module on employment safeguarding plans at HEDAC with a magistrate from the Versailles CAA, and also lectures at Paris 2 (on job and career path management, GEPP) and Paris 1 on social and economic committees.
She is a graduate of ESCP Europe (1995) and Université Paris V (Maîtrise en droit des affaires and Maîtrise en droit public, 1996), and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1998.
