On March 21, the Conseil d’Etat handed down a series of long-awaited decisions on employment protection plans (plans de sauvegarde de l’emploi – PSE). One of these (CE no. 459626, Paragon Transaction) definitively settles the question of whether a medium-term site closure project can be implemented via a collective bargaining agreement (rupture conventionnelle collective – RCC).
